Why I want to lose weight

It is always recommended to make a list of your reasons for doing things. Since I love lists, I am all for it. 

So why do I want to lose weight? I am going to add to this list as time goes on ...
  • I don't want to be the "fat mom" at my children's' school events
  • I want to be able to look at a picture of me without cringing
  • I like the idea of being fit!
  • my current weight isn't only an aesthetic problem, but I am putting my health in jeopardy
  • I want to climb mountains! Literally!
  • excess weight makes me feel older than I am
